A Compact Sealer for Narrower Pouches

The FS-200 has a 200mm sealing bar and 2mm seal width, making it the smallest model in the Polypouch range. It suits narrower stand up pouches, flat bottom bags, foil pouches and sachets when the complete opening fits comfortably inside the bar.

Measure the pouch where the seal will sit, not at its base. Leave enough clearance to keep the material flat across the element. Its 325 x 80 x 225mm dimensions and 2.1kg net weight make it easier to position where packing bench space is limited.

How the FS 200 Seals a Pouch

An impulse sealer doesn't remain hot between seals. Pressing the FS-200 arm activates the element for the time selected on the dial, applying heat and pressure across the pouch opening. The element then switches off while the material begins to cool.

Start with a low setting on a pouch, then increase the time in small steps. Keep the seal area free from wrinkles. Let the band cool before checking it for gaps or scorching, and retest whenever the pouch material or thickness changes.
