What Is Overprinting?
Overprinting involves printing directly onto the surface of a readily available off-the- shelf stock pouch, rather than onto packaging film before conversion. Since the pouch is already made, there is no need for printing plates or extended setup, which helps reduce cost and lead time.
This process is carried out using high-resolution digital equipment and is ideal for simple designs, product information, batch codes, and core branding elements.
How Overprinting Works with Us
Once your artwork is approved, your design is printed directly onto pre-formed, off-the-shelf pouches using high-resolution digital equipment. The process is streamlined, with minimal setup, making it ideal for brands that need high-quality printed packaging quickly.
Overprinting is offered on our range off white and brown kraft, and Adelmo recyclable and high barrier pouches, which provide a clean, printable surface for strong branding results.
Our team will support you throughout the process, from artwork preparation to final production, and advise on layout, file setup, and design suitability to ensure a smooth and successful print run.
